Database Marketing ensures that the data relevant for Marketing Campaigns are properly segmented, extracted, transformed, loaded (ETL), updated and constantly maintained and cleansed in the Customer Relationship Management systems as well as in Customer Associated Record databases. It also goes further to support the prospect and lead nurturing efforts of the marketing department, thereby ensuring that business value is generated in terms of the value of Marketing Generated Opportunities (MGO). This is Key Performance Indicator for the business results ensuing from the Marketing environment.
